Australia - wildlife adventure with Zoologist

Exploring the capital of Queensland, walk along the river, botanical gardens and famous crocodile hunter Australia Zoo

Our first stop in New South Wales. We will explore charming little town, enjoy the beautiful beaches and relax in lovely beach restaurants. Chance to spot several species of birds including lorikeets and cockatoos.

We will enjoy the stroll along lazy old mining town streets with flicks of cockatoos feeding at the main square. Chance to see some art in museum of cotton.

As we approach the icon of Australian coast we will enjoy the botanical gardens with the view of Opera house, trip to downtown and walk around the harbour, then visit to Sydney aquarium, opportunity to see species of fish, reptiles and amphibians including the ones native to the great reef.

As we reach Australian Capital we will go a little off the track and search for kangaroos and koalas. We can see museum of dinosaurs and walk in aviary where local colourful birds come to eat from your hands! Great opportunity for pictures and close interaction with native Australian species.

Stroll around the river in sleepy town in the centre of the state. Lovely chance for shopping for local products and embrace the culture. We can go out of town to try to find Andromeda galaxy on the night sky after dark

Time to see great city, try some more Australian food and enjoy the civilisation at its best. We will visit natural history museum with extensive aboriginal art collection and travel to nearby Philip Island where we can watch seals and penguins marching to their burrows on the beach while the sun sets. From there we will fly home back to Europe.
