Heiligenhafen

Tag 1-11
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Welcome on board for an active holiday, a true sailing experience across the Baltic Sea and the North Sea all the way up to the Norwegian fjords. This is a trip for those of you who want an eventful holiday with exciting activities and varied challenges, and want to experience both the Danish Limfjord as well as the alpine and magnificent mountain and fjord landscape around Bergen. We start the tour in Heiligenhafen, Germany. From here on we will be busy with activities and sailing north every day throughout the week! We make a stop at Stavanger. The one thing not to miss in this area is Lysefjorden, which offers all the most spectacular features of the inner waters of Norway’s great fjords, but in a manageable length of only just over 20 miles. The numerous waterfalls are exceptionally beautiful and grand, while the extraordinary Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock), a steep cliff which rises 604 metres above the Lysefjorden, is a nationally famous beauty spot. We then make the steep but fairly easy climb to the summit from where you can enjoy remarkable views. We then continue sailing north along the many islands and mountains, dropping anchor in clear water of the numerous anchorages of the beautiful fjords. There are several incredible hikes that begin at Rosendal, most notably the hike to Melderskin (alt 1,426 m) from where there are splendid views of the fjords and the Folgefonna glacier. On this trip, you have the chance to do a glacier hike at the Folgefonna glacier. All our planned activities along the way are optional. If you prefer to take a break in the boat and write poems or do yoga, or do nothing at all, then that's perfectly fine as long as you're happy! You'll learn to sail along the way, and you will get both challenges and feelings of achievement- and friends for life! If you are a beginner we will make you a sailor as soon as possible, and if you are experienced you will be given more responsibility and greater challenges.

Go to the salt water outdoor swimming area on Nordnes. The aquarium, on the point of Nordnes, the headland dividing the two harbours, is famous and well worth a visit. All our planned activities along the way are optional. If you prefer to take a break in the boat and write poems or do yoga, or do nothing at all, then that's perfectly fine as long as you're happy! On this trip you learn to sail along the way, and you will get both challenges and feelings of achievement- as well as friends for life! Join us for the highlight of the summer!

29.08.20 - 04.09.20 Bergen, Stavanger / 6 days / 890€) Welcome on board for an active holiday, a true sailing experience through the Norwegian fjords. This is a trip for those of you who want an eventful holiday with exciting activities and varied challenges, and want to experience the alpine and magnificent mountain and fjord landscape around Bergen and Stavanger. Enjoy lovely walks among the old wooden houses in the city centre of Bergen, on Nordnes, in Skuteviken and Sandviken. Take Fløybanen (the funicular) to the top of Ulriken for fabulous views of the city. There are marked footpaths from Ulriken, but also nice walks from the docks up the hill to Fjellvegen from where scenic walks are possible in several directions. Go to the salt water outdoor swimming area on Nordnes. The aquarium, on the point of Nordnes, the headland dividing the two harbours, is famous and well worth a visit. We then set sails and sail south along the many islands and mountains, dropping anchor in the clear water of the numerous anchorages of the beautiful fjords. There are several incredible hikes that begin at Rosendal, most notably the hike to Melderskin (alt 1,426 m) from where there are splendid views of the fjords and the Folgefonna glacier. We continue sailing south and stop at Stavanger.
