Neuseeland

Planning to travel the South Island. Starting in Picton the 1st of Jan, doing the Abel Tasman for 4 days, down to St Arnaud. After thatm going down the west coast to Wanaka, Queenstown, Te Anau (Kepler track). Then coming back up the East Coast, passing Mt. Cook and Lake Tekapo. Then finishing in Christchurch!

Nelson

Tag 1-8

I'll sleep in Nelson the night before and after hiking the Abel Tasman track!

Saint Arnaud

Tag 8-9

After Nelson, I'd like to camp near Lake Rototiti in St. Arnaud, before heading south along the west coast.

Franz Josef Glacier

Tag 9-10

Before getting to Wanaka, this would be one stop to explore the area!

Wanaka

Tag 10-13

Second big stop would be at Wanaka. The idea is to explore around, hike Isthmus Peak or Roy's Peak!

Te Anau

Tag 13-14

I managed to book Iris Burn Hut in the Kepler track, so would sleep in Te Anau the night before that!

After hiking the whole day, time to relax and sleep at Iris Burn Hut!

After finishing the hike, it's time to relax in Te Anau!

Queenstown

Tag 16-20

Third big stop! After going to Lake Marian, I'd like to head to Queenstown to do some more hiking and activities. Maybe also going to Glenorchy.

Mount Cook

Tag 20-21

After Queenstown, the idea is to start going north again, but this time along the east coast and stop at beautiful Mt. Cook and Lake Tekapo. Hopefully camp somewhere there!
