This trip is basacally fully planned and booked, since it is over the high season in Thailand. For me it is important to see and do the things that is important when visiting Thailand. You will see I am spending allot of days at each stopover and this is to have rest days and to see as much as possible in that area. I am semi flexible, so if you want to join me and you would like to add and remove some places, let me know and we can talk about it. Since my time is very limited with my trip, I am trying to book only airplanes for domestic travel. 16 - 21 December Here I haven't yet booked a place to stay. My plan are to get a 7 day Thailand Iventure card pass and see all the important things in Bangkok for the first 5 days and two days that is left I will use in Phuket.

21 - 27 December Booked at Bodega phuket party hostel. Phi phi and pha nga bay day trips are the only two must trips while in phuket. I am planning to rent a scooter while on the island to explore. Night times are party time at the hostel!!

Ko Samui

27 - 28 December Booked at Samui Boutique hotel I decided to check out the island for one day as a stopover and rest day before going on to Koh phangan.

Ko Pha Ngan

28 December - 2 January Booked at Jaya Party Hostel. Will mostly explore during the day and party at night. Planning to rent a scooter and on one of the days maybe a day trip to koh Tao.

Chiang Mai

2 - 5 January Booked at Bodega Thapae in Chiang Mai. Ethical elephants, culture and food is my must do's here. Might rent a scooter here.

Pai

5 - 6 January Booked at the famous circus pai hostel. I will rent a car in Chiang mai to do my own adaption of the Mae hong son loop. Don't worry I can drive. I have done numerous road trips through some Crazy african cities and countries. Today we will drive 188km from Chiang Mai to Pai via Wat Chan.

Mok Cham Pae

6 - 7 January Booked at this beautifull little hotel on the lake called Baan Rak Thai Ta La Sue. Today we will drive only 110km. So we can still spent the morning in Pai. There are a few lakes and nice things to do Near Mok Cham Pae that we shoulf make time for.

Mae Surin Waterfall National Park Check Point
Tag 23-24
7 - 8 January Booked at Baan Pakayor Homestay. Today we are driving 131km. We will leave early to have more time in Mae Hong Son city. In late aftternoon we will visit Mae Surin waterfall.

Mae Chaem

8 - 9 January Booked at Navasuang Resort. Today has two drive options: 1. 110km short cut with back roads 2. 257km via Mae Sariang Today we will make sure to visit Doi Inthanon, the highest peek in Thailand. Take note: We need to in chiang mai around 10am on 9 January for my flight back South Africa.
