This exciting journey through the most desired locations in Peru is going to be spectacular! We will be traveling with PeruHop, a bus company that allows you to hop on and off the bus at various locations at any time using only one ticket. If you’d like to see some major highlights we’ll be hitting, just google key words: Machu Picchu, Haucachina, Rainbow Mountains (of Peru), and Lake Titicaca. We will be flying into Lima, Peru, and this city alone has so much to offer. Culture and natural beauty, those are the things I expect to be consumed by during this amazing trip!

Lima
Tag 1-4
Lima is the capitol of Peru and it is a beautiful view! Here, we will be taking in the breathtaking views at the beach and seeing some of the city’s most popular monuments.

Paracas
Tag 4-5
Here we will be visiting the red sand beach, and the Ballestas Islands. The PeruHop bus includes special stops, such as a stop where locals feed us fresh baked bread, baked in large stone furnaces!

Huacachina
Tag 5-6
Huacachina is the only oasis in South America. Two words. Sand boarding!

Nazca
Tag 6-7
We will make a stop in Nazca to view the Nazca lines from a lookout tower (cost included in the PeruHop ticket, as are other tours at various stops).

Arequipa
Tag 7-10
La ciudad blanco! This is one of the most beautifully cultured cities that you could ever visit, next to Antigua, Guatemala. These two cities could be cousins; however, Arequipa is the larger of the two. We will spend two days exploring the city and all of its beauty.

Puno
Tag 10-11
I believe Puno is where we visit the Native tribe of Lake Titicaca. This Native tribe lives on floating islands on the highest navigable lake in the world! Once a week they trade various forms (fresh, dried, etc.) of fish in exchange for produce, because they are unable to grow crops on their islands. They can definitely catch some fish though!

Cusco
Tag 11-14
Cusco is where we see the famous Machu Picchu. We will be purchasing tickets into Machu Picchu and making our way to the top by a series of transportation including bus, train, and shuttle bus to get closer to the top. In Cusco we will also be visiting the Rainbow Mountains.
