This is a valley you would expect in a fairy tale. It is not, it is real. One of the most beautuful valleys in Switzerland. And the small town Lauterbrunnen with its impressive waterfall towering above it. There are 72 waterfalls in this valley. We will visit three of them. Trümmelbach Falls (a world heritage site) & Staubbach Falls. Event fee: 250 euros: Includes camping + entrance to Glacier Ravine Grindelwald. There is also a hostel on the camping site with 1 to 6 people per room: 270 euros. Camping equipment available for rent: 4 people tent, isomat, sleeping bag for 30 euros for the whole weekend. Be aware that you'll probably need to ask for a day of holiday on July 29. Be aware that these events have a structure. At the beginning of the event we all have the opportunity to introduce ourselves and get to know each other using different kinds of techniques. Also at the end of the event there is the possibility to share our experience with the other participants and give suggestions and a feedback. This is optional and you can chose not to participate.

Friday July 26: We will meet at Heidelberg station at 16:00 AM in front of McDonalds. From there we will head for Lauterbrunnen in Switzerland which is a 4,5 hours drive. We will put up our tents and get installed.

Tag 1-2
Saturday July 27: Start at Lauterbrunnen train station to the Trümmelbach Falls which is a Unesco World Heritage Site. They are hidden inside the mountain. Entrance is free. From there we will head on to the Staubbach Falls at 18 km and from there back to Lauterbrunnen train station. The view during the whole event will be breathtaking. Distance: 19 km, Ascent: 975 m, Descent: 975 m

Tag 2-3
Sunday July 28: Hike to Oberhornsee and Berghaus Tschingelhorn with terrific views of the Schmadribach Falls We will start at Schildhornbahn parking lot and walk up to Berggasthof Trachsellauenen, from there on to Oberhornsee, ice-blue and ice-cold, where we will have a rest. Then on to Berghaus Tschingelhorn with views on the Schmadribach Falls. Then to Berggasthof Trachsellauenen and back to Schildhornbahn. Distance: 12,5 km Ascent: 927 m Descent: 934 m 8

Grindelwald
Tag 3-4
Monday July 29: We pack our stuff and leave the camping site. Then we head on to Glacier Ravine Grindelwald - Gletscherschlucht Grindelwald for a short hike and visit. Start: Grindelwald train station. Alder Walk to the Marble Quarry. Cool layers of rock, the lumps of which are always built by hikers along the way to beautiful little stone men. Cairns are piled up in higher mountains to mark paths. From there we head on to the Ravine. One of the highlights of this attraction is the 170 m2 SPIDERWEB which spans the canyon, providing visitors with a thrilling net platform to scramble, walk or crawl on, seven metres above the roaring Lütschine River. From there back to Grindelwald and back to Heidelberg. Distance: 6 km, Ascent: 243 m, Descent: 236
